Orange orbs seen in southeast sky over Vancouver WA on New Years Eve at about 10:15pm
It was on New Year’s Eve 2014 at about 10:15pm. I went outside in the back yard to walk next door. My son was over at the neighbor.
It was a clear night and as I stepped out in the back yard, I looked up in the southeast sky and saw one orange orb like light that hardly moved. I could only tell it was moving because of one bright star off to the left of the orange light. It was not blinking there was no noise of a plane or other aircraft.
Then about 30 seconds the light disappeared. Immediately after the first one disappeared another orange like orb formed slightly to the left and down from where I saw the first light. This one moved in the same manner as the first but after about 40 seconds it too disappeared. Then two more orange orbs appeared. I was trying to get the attention of my neighbor and his girlfriend and my two boys. Then the girlfriend came out and saw the two orbs and asked said, “What the heck is that?” Then my two boys and neighbor all came out and we watched this go on orbs appearing and disappearing for about 2 more minutes.
Then 3 orbs appeared into a tangier shape, and moved from east to west. Then one orb went out leaving two which seemed to move faster than the others but not by much. Then the other two disappeared.
Before all three disappeared, I had got my other neighbor to see what we were seeing and he was really not sure what to think. Then another one showed up but more off to the right from the others. This one seemed to be the same size but appeared to change colors like red, green and blue and kind of was spinning.
Then that went away and one last smaller orb showed up to the left of the colorful one and then went away. Then there was no more light or orbs.
