Facing west and looking upward at about a 60 degree angle, I noticed a perfect equilateral triangle of what appeared to be stars, but then these "stars" started to flatten out their triangular configuration until they were in a straight line.
At that point, the leftmost light moved in a straight line away from the other two lights heading toward the southeast.
Definitely NOT typical star behavior!
