I saw a huge circular object with bright lights all around it silently moved across the sky at what seemed to be over the houses. When an airplane flew near by, all of a sudden, all of the lights just went off. It then just moved straight down and was gone.
When the lights went out I could still see the dark silhouette of the shape in the sky.
