2014-10-27 - South Kingstown, RI - Fireball

Fireball going across the sky when trying to watch the initial Antares launch on 10/27/14

I went out to see if I could see the launch of the Antares rocket which could be viewed moving from the southwest toward the south. I saw a large bright object moving in that exact trajectory at a high rate of speed and I had my wife come look at what I thought was the rocket. There were no flashing lights or red and green lights on this object and it was moving too fast to be a jet. I logged onto the NASA mission control site to watch the live feed and I hear that the launch was scrubbed due to a sailboat that was in the area below the projected path. I really want to know what was I looking at? Unfortunately, I tried to watch the postponed launch again last night and the vehicle exploded right after takeoff.
