Sets of orange flare-like objects blink in & out, varying positions along Northern Vegas skyline.
About 8:30 pm for two nights in a row (09-17-14 / 09-18-14) orange flare-like objects appeared & disappeared on the Northern horizon in varying positions (out toward Nellis AFB and further West) never more than two or three at a time.
I watched them with three friends.
They were stationary, drifting only slightly before fading out and flickering the entire time.
No other colors or patterns indicating aircraft.
Probably flares but web search yields nothing.
