Round shape that appeared like a ball of red light.
9/17/14 10:24PM, I witnessed, close to the ocean, a red ball of light in the sky last night.
I took several pictures and zoomed in to investigate. The zoomed in pictures are hard to make out. However, they look similar to a human brain, with shades of red.
