Santa Fe Tear Drop hovering over 40 minutes.
We live in Santa Fe New Mexico and noticed a bright light hovering over our home, high in the sky, as the sun went down, it turned an orangish color. We have been watching it for over a half an hour now. It has not moved. It is almost directly above the Santa Fe Airport.
((NUFORC Note: We suspect that the object was a hig-altitude, helium-filled balloon. One was reported to have been released from Ft. Sumner in New Mexico.
