Bright, round, orange ball suddenly appeared and drifted across sky from east to west before disappearing as quickly as it appeared
A bright, round, orange ball, for lack of a better word, suddenly appeared in the sky (to the south), and drifted across the sky from east to west.
It did not exactly go in a straight line, but also didn't move around or zig-zag.
It seemed to dim slightly at one point, but then returned to its bright orange color. There were no flashing lights and no sound.
It was visible for approximately two minutes, perhaps slightly less, and then disappeared as quickly as it appeared.
