Around 3:00 AM, a purple light shot across the sky in a wave-like manner. It went across, peaked, lulled, across again and then vanished. From point A to B looking like; ____/\____.
The house where I was is mostly surrounded by woodland with a house every half mile or so. No houses are visible in the direction that the light was seen.
As it was very late, no other houses in the area had lights on (indoor or outdoor).
