Car headlight like lights lit us up from the sky.
My grandmother and I were sitting on the tailgate of her truck in the front yard. We were watching the dogs play before bed. It was summer and the sky’s were clear. It was a generally peaceful night. There was no noise or warning of the lights, but out of nowhere we are lit up by headlight like lights in the sky. They were generally close to the ground close enough for us and the ground around us to be lit up. It was 2 lights side by side shining down on us as if it was headlights, but they were above us. The lights turned off within 10 seconds and it was over. I can remember my grandmothers dogs acting strange and running to the door after the phenomenon. We went inside and have never experienced this again. We live in the country and are surrounded by cow pastures and no neighbors. There are no major highways around us only dirt roads, but at that time of night we have no one coming down the roads.
