Round, firey red, stationary object in the sky.
In the southern sky saw a round red object stationary at about two o’clock in the sky. It did not seem to move but flickered as if on fire. I did not have any field glasses so this was with normal vision.
The object appeared to be about the size of a pencil erasure held at arm's length.
The object grew smaller as it appeared to travel away from me at great speed.
