Sky sounds in Redmond, WA.

I got up at 0300 to get ready for work. I could hear what sounded like a large engine idling outside. I closed the window and continued to get ready for work.
At 0340 I went outside to leave and noticed that the sound was still happening. It seemed to be coming from the sky, but I was unable to pinpoint any source, it was coming from everywhere. It was very reminiscent of sounds I heard growing up by McCord Air Force Base when the planes would test their engines, unlike the planes I couldn’t feel any vibrations, there was just the loud sound.
I was surprised at how well the windows had blocked it as it was very loud.
Not a UFO but I felt it was strange enough to report somewhere.
