20+ glowing orbs seen over 30 minute period in eastern horizon

At about 8:54 p.m. my wife saw orange red orbs about 4 miles east of our house moving from the south and heading north.

Initially there were 3 then more followed the same path, some higher and some lower.

We got Binoculars out and could only see glowing ball of red and orange, no demarcation lights or anything that would indicate a plane might be what we were seeing.

We called some friends and told them to look because they lived near where we were seeing the objects. They immediately saw them and said they made no noise and changed direction slightly and merged together some times but they could see them go all the way north into the horizon, a good 10 miles. In over thirty minutes there must have been over 20 of them.

We saw these same balls over our house back in October at a distance of 150-200 ft making absolutely no noise at all.

I have a aeronautical background working for Lockheed for a many years and privately fly sailplanes and Hang Gliders. These were not drones or planes.
