Jet chasing "light"?
F/A-18 had been flying fast and low over Clairemont area making three passes over my neighborhood. Faster & lower each time. The passes were at 9:20, 9:40 & 10:01 pm. Unusual for a fighter jet to be running exercises over a suburban area that late at night.
Yellow-white light descended down directly over my apartment just before 10pm. Apartment buildings surrounding mine were illuminated by "light." It pulsed bright white light in horizontal plane a few times like ripples on water. Jet approached from west heading in easterly direction.
Both jet and "light" were at approximately same altitude. Estimate between 100-150 feet above ground level. As jet closed on "light"' it was accelerating. "Light" sped away in easterly direction at fantastic speed as jet was nearly over block.
Building shook & windows rattled so violently I thought I might get showered with shattered glass. Jet seemed to be pursuing "light." It never made a sound. F/A-18 was loud and scary low.

Sorry, date must have gotten dropped. 04/24/2014 was date. Quiet night except for traffic. I can hear passing cars and buses. If people are walking nearby, I can hear them. There was no discernable sound from "light."

Observed light for about a minute before jet approached. Jet was right on its tail at closest approach, but "light" sped off at fantastic rate of acceleration.
