UFO sighting in suburban NJ close enough to see the shape, details and color of the object
Unreal... My wife is a physician and it's not easy to get her shaken up. She also has excellent observation skills and notices details that most people would miss.
She also did not believe in UFOs. Today is her day off and she was at home.
A couple of hours ago, she called me (at work) in panic/excitement and said she observed a UFO when she stepped out of the house to get the dog. From her words, she thought it was a plane that was sitting so low in the sky, she thought it was going to crash.
Then she noticed it was too big for a plane, didn't have wings and was not making any noise. She said that it looked like a rocket.
It was moving slowly above the neighbor's house at a bird's flight height and she could see it was grey metallic (matte - not shiny, but the sun was out, it's been cloudy). She saw the width of the machine, it was smooth overall, but had a large visible structure located towards the end of the body that looked like a propulsion system and some large symmetrical multiple tail type structure.
The machine was about twice the length of the plane and proportionally wider than the plane. She was on the phone with her mother at the time, but could not turn on the camera on iPhone - it was not working.
The machine then made a slow turn without changing altitude and went beyond pine trees on neighbor's property, blocking her view. By the time my wife went around the neighbor's house, the machine just vanished in the sky. The dog never even looked up and didn't notice the vessel in the air as it was totally quiet.
This whole event lasted for about 20-30 sec's.
Our house backyard has a small lake and nearby is a undeveloped forested area ~5 Acres.
