A bright object flew across the sky, stopped, lowered down and dashed back away at high speed.
It was around 8 pm and we were standing at the back porch of our house with my mom. My mom was on the mobile at the time talking to my grandmother, when we suddenly saw a bright object in the sky flying at a slow speed.
We thought it was a plane at first but we then noticed it had no blinking lights. It was more like a star in the way it glowed. A very bright star. Then it suddenly stopped its track and started lowering in altitude.
We live in El Hatillo, which is a big hill in the capital city. There are alot of pine trees and the object almost got lost in the tree tops. I bent a little to be able to see it. My mom kept talking to my grandma narrating the whole experience. She kept telling us to photograph it but I had my mobile charging in my room and my mom wouldn´t stop talking from nervousness. In any case we we´re both to amazed to do anything but watch.
The object remained there standind still in mid air (it never reached land) for what seemed a few minutes. Then suddenly it dashed upwards at a 45 degree angle into the sky and disappeared.
