A bright cigar shaped UFO seen over Huntsville, NC, USA
My girlfriend and I were driving down from Pittsburgh, PA, to Myrtle Beach, Florida, for a quick detour on our way to Daytona Beach, Fla. It was dsl out and there only a few clouds in the sky that were observed. On route I-74 East, approximitely 20 miles south of Hillsville, NC she observed a strange bright cylinder/cigar shaped light west of the interstate.
She woke me up and pointed it out to me. We both observed the object together as being stationary. The time of occurance was 6 am.
The object was approximately 200 feet off of the ground (seen from a distance of roughly 2 miles away).
We observed the UFO for about 5 minutes and we both saw the object disappear as if someone had turned off a light.
We did not see the UFO again.
