Large star-like object seen in afternoon sky then quickly vanished
I was driving on 65 N towards Nashville and saw a bright white star-like object to my left. Within a second it faded from a large bright object to a tiny dot and was gone.
Seen in clear blue afternoon sky, planes spotted before and after sighting and this was definitely no plane.
