Fast, blue ball of light
I was walking home with my room mate and we saw a blue light in the sky about 10-15 miles SxSE of my location.
It was very fast in horizontal and vertical movement. It seemed to gain altitude, then free-fall multiple times.
It then sped towards us, stopped about a mile away, and without turning around, returned to where it was first sighted.
After about 15 minutes of racing around the sky, it just disappeared.
