VERY LOUD BOOM AND EARTH SHAKE IN SOUTH FLORIDA TODAY
Hi, I listen to you often on C2C AM and thought I would report this.
I am a pool guy and I am out doors everyday all day, and this is the first time I have EVER experienced this event.
Today at about 10:30 am I got to a customer's house and began my work, I was on the phone with a buddy (I had the ear peace in my right ear) as we were speaking I heard what sounded to be a bomb go off in the distance and the ground underneath me SHOOK as if the something had exploded very near me, I was standing on grass by the way. It freaked me out to the point of me yelling to my bubbly on the phone "what the hell was that????" He said " what was what?" And I replied, "Did you just feel the ground shake??" ( he is also a pool guy in the Boca Raton area in South Florida, 35 min drive from where I was) "he replied no I didn't".
I then hung up with him and my customer came outside and said " what happened?? What was that??" I said " did you hear that BOOM?? She said "no" I felt my floor shake. And saw you where here and thought something went wrong with my pool equipment" I replied to her " I felt the earth shake and heard a BOOM, but I was no where near her equipment" not only that but afterwards I checked to see if it indeed it was the equipment ( pimp, motor, heater, pipes) anything... And NOTHING was broken or out of place, everything was working perfectly. I know that lately reports like this have been coming out of this area and I never thought I would be saying that it's 100% real, whatever this BOOM is, it is incredibly powerful.
