Sacramento red and white lights in sky
On 2 consecutive nights saw a red and white lit triangle rise slowly in the southern sky, then slowly fall behind the tree line. Moments later it would reappear in the opposite side of the tree line and accelerate rapidly across the southern sky and disappear. I also witnessed the same object on approximately 1/13/14, repeated rising and dropping, only to disappear. On each occasion went outside, no engine noise to be heard.
