Day time solid white cylinder craft 1300 ft away hovering over mountain top next to VA interstate 23
My wife and I were traveling south on VA interstate 23 south bound toward Gate City VA from Big Stone Gap VA,we just pasted the rock quarry at Speers Ferry. She was looking around and yelled at me what is that on top of the mountain? I looked through my windshield and my drivers side window to my left what we were looking at was a solid white craft appearing to be floating over the top of the ridge line of the mountain by approximately 100-125 feet (THREE TREES STACKED END TO END)and may have been moving slowly north 10-15 mph we watched it for approximately 30 seconds to maybe a minute at the most (I kept on driving) The craft was less than a quarter a mile away when we first seen it,it looked like a big propane cylinder solid very bright white no wings no tail no windows no paint or color solid white!It looked like a big balloon in movement (FLOATING OR HOVERING) It was approximately 250-300 feet in length and 25-40 feet in height slightly wider or bulged toward the north (rear) end there was nothing under it or over it, this was against a clear blue sky no sun in our eyes or clouds near by, it was a solid object for sure and was way bigger than a jet plane at any airport.
