Steady orange light in the sky sped up silently, appeared to drop down from the trees stoped, changed direction & then moved away.
It was a clear night tonight, I was going outside to join my wife & child who were lying down on the grass watching the stars when my wife started calling me over urgently. When I got there she pointed out an object moving through the clear night sky. The view was unobstructed, it appeared to omit an orange colour, was clearly either larger or closer than a plane but with no noise like the many other planes we saw tonight & the lights didn't flash like a plane does either. It was a strange feeling as I had never seen something like this before & it slowly moved away from us further East over the hills in the direction of Darlington. My wife said it sped up, stopped & changed directions more than anything else would. 5 minutes later I saw what I thought was another one in another direction & higher up in the sky. This one was the same colour as the stars but I think it was more likely a satellite as it didn't change directions plus I know the difference between a satellite & a shooting star as I've seen them many times before.
