reddish-orange glowing orb seen fadeing out and crashing into the water

I walked out on the back porch, which faces the beach and noticed a reddish-orange glowing orb traveling south just above the high rise condo next door. I ran out to the beach to get a better view but didn't see anything.

A few minutes later I saw another reddish-orange orb originate around the apache pier and was traveling south towards me. It was about the same height as the previous orb. When it was almost directly overhead it turned east towards the ocean, as it flew into a small low flying cloud it began to fade out but I could still see it.

The orb changed to an off white or a greyish white and began twirling downward until it hit the water. As it was falling I noticed one end had 2 rounded globes, like on a heart and the other end was smaller but didnt see to much detail on that end, I ran to the waters edge and approximately 40' to 50'away from me it hit the water. It looked to be about 2-1/2 to 3 foot across the widest part. I watched it float for maybe 5 minutes. I then left to get my wife and when we returned it was gone.

A few minutes after we returned home, I went back out on the porch and another reddish-orange glowing orb flew over the same condo and faded out almost directly overhead and turned off white or greyish white and continued over the apartment and out of sight. We went outside but couldn't see or find anything.
