While driving on I-94 westbound headed towards Detroit on Christmas Eve I saw 3 orange lights in the sky, all on the same plane, level to each other. I couldn't tell if they were moving and the light seemed constant, no flickering. They were very high in the sky but not so high up that I could not see them clearly while driving. The lights were spaced quite far apart. If they had been drawn on a flat surface each light was about 4 inches spaced apart in the sky from my perspective. While looking at them and pointing them out to other people in my vehicle a very tiny white light began to drop from the orange light on the left side. The light dropped like a grain of salt would straight down and I could not see what happened to it because of my view being blocked. That's all the information I have.
