There were at least a dozen red star like objects floating overhead-- Some would disappear and more kept coming.
On Christmas Eve, 2013, at around 11:30 PM as I was taking my dog out before going to bed, I noticed many red lights floating overhead. They were going from east to west. They looked two to three times larger than Venus. They did not descend-they kept moving in a line formation. The first ones would disappear, but more of them appeared. There was a small plane in the area and they were almost at the same height. One of the lights moved closer to another one, but they continued toward the west. I ran, woke up my son and told him to hurry outside. He also saw them and neither of us knew what they were. At first I thought maybe they’re fireworks. I expected them to burst into flashes of color, but they didn’t. Then I thought they could be lanterns, but my son thought they were too high and why would anyone let lanterns float loose over a residential area where things could catch fire. Another friend thought maybe they were military flares, but they w! ere not descending-they kept on a straight path until they would disappear or flicker out. I would like to know what they were. I googled it to see if anyone else reported seeing them and that’s where I found your website. Hope you can tell us what they were.
