Saw an object traveling from west to east across the sky, that looked to be a rocket in level flight. It appeared to stay at the same altitude, perhaps a few thousand to 10 thousand feet up. It moved across the sky at a speed equivalent to a fast propeller driven plane, but appeared to be emitting orange or red fire, or was on fire. It did not appear to be a meteorite.
