I looked across the creek at the tree line and saw a bright orange light start to slowly rise vertically above the trees. Then a minute later, I saw another similar orange bright light rise vertically behind the first. Another minute passed as I was watching the first two lights, a third orange light followed the path of the first two.
The first two then slowly turned to my right and assumed a horizontal position, followed by the third light. They moved slowly to my right and then one by on disappeared.
I looked out about 15 minute later and 2 had come back and were directly across the creek from my house. They then moved horizontally from my left to the right and disappeared again.
I watched this event first with the “naked eye”, and then through binoculars. There was no particular shape. If I had to pick a shape, I would say it was oval.
