Three red lights in horizontal formation.
Saw three red lights in a perfect horizontal formation hovering above neighborhood area looked to be within several hundred feet. Appeared to be the side of a large hovering aircraft.
Slowly and steadily hovered from the south to the east part of sky for about 10 minutes until the lights slowly went out one by one. Was silent.
Military aircraft seemed to be in the air before and after incident as I observed trails in sky.
Called friend who lived in same area on phone during incident but they were unable to view it from their residence due to obstruction.
