A ball of intense white light with rays of light shooting out from the orb. the only description that came to mind was the christmas star in that the rays of light coming off of this orb was intense in its bright white color.
It seemed close but then seemed to recede or get smaller as it traveled in a slow zig zag across the night sky before it past behind the treeline and i could not follow it any more. there was no noise.
