Strange cylinder shape changing colors and moving fast in sky.
For the last 2 days starting at the same time my friend and I have seen a craft of some kind appear and disappear in almost the same position. He called me and told me there was something in the sky and when I looked it was in the west by the mountain range. When I found it in the sky it was changing colors so I discounted it and told him it was a plane. I sat on my porch and watched and it didn't move for almost 2 full hours. I called a local news station and they said they had other reports and would check it out. Right about 7pm as I was showing my wife and daughter it moved sharp to the west very fast and then really fast again disappeared behind the mountains.
The second night when it appeared it was bright white and moving in a circle pattern. I again called my friend and told him it was back in almost the same spot. As he watched from his house and I watched from mine about 15 miles away we watched it change colors many times and move very fast in no particular pattern. I again called the same station and they informed me again others have called but didn't have a chance to verify or confirm. We all again watched it move erratically thru the sky and disappear behind the mountains.
