Intensly bright yellowish/orangish light. Very high in the sky. My house is directly below the northern flight path for all air traffic. Hundred or more every day travel over my house. I watch them always 5-6 at a time. This was no commercial air craft. There were three large passenger jets in the southern sky just to the west of this stationary light. It was very high. As high as the jets in flight or higher. Yet so much bigger. It remained there for a few moments the subtly faded out. It was incredible to see.
