Date: September 27, 2013 Time: Between 8:30 and 8:40 Mountain Time Location: Viewed looking West from Interstate 40 about 5 miles west of Clines Corner,which is at intersection of I-40 and Hwy 285, continuing to be visible for about 10 minutes, approximately about 10 miles traveled during that time. Sky was very dark and no city lights were observable at this location.
Description: Light flashes first in a rhythmic cycle of 3 or 4 seconds, appearing to circle clockwise in sky, gradually coming closer and lower as I drove west on Interstate 40. Objects appeared to be orbs that looked dull gray and shadowy, not completely as a solid object, possibly a reflection of sorts. At the closest view, the orbs appeared to have a slight ring object around the center of orb.
As I was viewing them at the closest view all the circling orbs suddenly disappeared all at once. I think there were 3 or possible more in the sky.
