2013-09-17 - Cheshire, OH - Light

Watched white light like airplane without flashing light for approx. 5 mins. Then fade to red light, then faded out and disappeared.

I was hanging out with a friend during perfectly clear night, looking up enjoying the stars. We had noticed a white light moving in the sky thinking it was just an airplane but had no sound, completely silent.

We continued watching it as it flew closer to us, I mentioned to him that the light is moving as fast as a jet airplane but did't see it's flashing marker lights. This object had to be as high as the elevation of a jet airplane. We continued watching it as it flew above us and we both knew it definitely had NO flashing lights and no sound at all. We told each other that it was absolutely not a jet or any other type of human made flying object. It continued flying away heading east towards the Middleport/Pomeroy (Meigs County) area, then I'd say 30 seconds after it had flown past us the color of the object had faded from white to red. 5 seconds after it changed to red it slowly faded into the night sky. Then my friend had noticed the exactly same red light ob! ject had re-appeared in a matter of 3 seconds was south as we were looking across the Ohio river. Watching this same object in the sky after no more than15 more seconds it had unfortunately disappeared.
