Sighting of Unusual Flaming Object in Night Sky East Daviess County, Kentucky September 13, 2013 I saw this tonight at 7:52 pm CDT in the sky from eastern Daviess County, KY, September 13, 2013.
I am curious if anyone else reported seeing this. It looked like a big ball of flame just below the moon and drifting across sky in a southwestern direction until I lost sight of it behind some pine trees. Very amazing!
I took this picture with my cell phone. My husband observed it with me and took several pictures with a digital camera, but the one on my phone is best. (His are not steady). I really am anxious to know what this was, or if it was seen by others. - Thank you.
