Bright star that faded and started to move then changed direction
When star gazing we saw what we thought was a planet (a very night star) to the north after maybe 4 seconds the star dimmed to the same brightness as the rest of the stars and moved in an eastwardly direction or approximately 5 seconds then stopped and headed back to the west to its point of origin before disappearing.
((NUFORC Note: For some reason, the source of the report does not indicate a time or date of the sighting. We are awaiting word from him on these points. In the meantime, we have assigned an arbitrary time and date. PD))
