An unknown silver cigar shaped object was sighted about 3 pm 1 Sept 2013 over east central Wyoming.
I live out in the rural area, and frequently watch many high overhead flights everyday at varying altitudes, going varying directions.
I first spotted this “silver cigar” about North-northeast of my location, about 30 degrees above the horizon, and watched it move to the East south-east where it vanished when I glanced away for a moment. It was the only “aircraft” I had seen the entire day.
On this date, the weather was a totally clear sky, with no wind whatsoever.
It was what was lacking that made this unusual... I saw NO wings or tail, just a silver cigar shape, pointed on both ends. There was NO jet con-trail, NOR any jet noise whatsoever, as there always is following any other jet, no matter how high.
