2013-08-22 - Pemberton, NJ - Unknown

I saw multiple unidentified lighted Objects in the sky.

I was driving in the town of New Lisbon, NJ, heading towards Browns Mills, NJ. I was about to turn right onto Junction RD, when I saw several good sized lights to straight ahead of me.

I knew instantly from the size and number of them (6-8 or so)that they were not something you see every day. I decided not to make the right onto Junction Rd, and quickly went straight ahead out to the next Rd (Pemberton- Browns Mills RD) to see if I could get a better view of them. I sped and got to the next road over in about 20 seconds.

When I came to the stop sign, I parked and got out. I could see them objects still, but they were going behind the tree line and out of my view. I got my cell phone out as fast as I could, and started to film. I was a bit nervous, and it took me a few seconds to get the camera video going. By this time, most had gone behind the tree line. One was still very much in the open, and I decided to film that one. For anybody that is Familiar with this area, it was over the Pemberton Twp Police Department building along the woods line, but was further back not close to Pemberton Browns Mills Rd. I could not judge the distance, but guessed it was out near Pointsville RD on Fort Dix somewhere near Emmons Dairy, a well known Farm in my area.

It took me a few seconds to find the object with my phone. They were lights, I didn’t see any shape of the object itself. They seemed to flicker a bit almost to a light blue color. There was no sound at all while I recorded, other than the sound of passing cars in front of me. I recorded for about 30 seconds, until I became aware, I was standing in the middle of a road, and then looked around to make sure no cars were coming behind me. The object also got behind the tree line.

All along, these objects were in some sort of formation or pattern, not just randomly in the sky. Upon playing back my video, I saw it came out shaky, but I did catch the object, although it appeared smaller on the video than it did with my own eye. I don’t know how to zoom with my camera on my phone, or perhaps the video would be better. Other objects in the video include a street light and cars passing by horizontally in front of me. The object itself, seems to move quickly back and forth within a small area. I don’t think this was due to my shaking hand, but I don’t know for sure.

Again, the best spot I estimate the objects to have been flying directly over would be in the area of Pointsville Rd between Pemberton & Fort Dix Military Base.

Living in the area of Fort Dix & McGuire AFB my whol life, I am used to seeing and hearing planes & helicopters. These were no planes as they floated way too slowly. They may have been stealth choppers possibly, but that's the only thing I could imagine them being. They floated with a purpose, and in a formation of some sort, all moving together in one direction towards Fort Dix and McGuire AFB.
