Bright orangy-red and white light in SW sky over Madison, WI, travelling slowly and then disappearing.
In the Southwestern sky, we observed a large light in the sky that had an orange/red cast to it. The shape wasn't quite round.
The light moved steadily, but slowly, towards the Southeast.
We watched it progress for about 5 minutes, at which time it got smaller and then disappeared from sight.
We waited to see if it would reappear, thinking their might be some cloud cover at high altitude, but it did not.
