It was around the last week in August. There was a storm rolling in from the west traveling east towards Lake Michigan. Within this storm there was a lot of electrical activity. The whole night sky light up just about every few seconds.
It was around 10 pm when my son and I were driving home on a dark country road. We were traveling east going 25 mph. I happen to be enjoying the light show from the storm when all sudden I saw something within a cloud that just had lite up with electrical activity.
Inside this large cloud was a “HUGE” long rectangle object. The top and bottom were very long and flat with the sides being very short in height. There were 4 corners and on each corner where lights of yellowish/orange shining off the tips. Inside the rectangle there seemed to be a soft whitish/silver glow throughout. All the edges of the rectangle where very defined.
I happen to see this as the cloud it was hiding in had lite up. When the cloud went dark and lite up again the object was gone. I had my son drive back down the same spot where I saw it off in the distance. Unfortunately, the object was gone or at least had moved out of sight. I would have to say that it was the largest thing I had ever seen in the sky. It was “HUGE and AMAZING.”
I feel very fortunate to witness such an object. It seemed to be close to the lake front over the city of Sheboygan.
