Triangular shape (3 non-flashing lights), no sound, moving in a straight line. few seconds.
I was standing in my back garden, watching the meteor shower that had been mentioned on the TV, when, in between, the shooting stars, I noticed a triangle of lights. The triangle had two equal long sides and one shorter (at the rear). There were three lights one at each point. The lights weren’t bright, they were dull like a satellite passing over and they didn’t flash.
The object moved in a straight line at a speed that would be faster than a plane or a satellite but slower than a shooting star. The direction it moved at was roughly north-west to south east. The ‘triangle’ moved with the point leading. I initially thought the triangular object was solid but I noticed that the back left point seemed to move a little which made me wonder if the lights were separate entities moving in formation, or not. The night was very still and clear.
It was the strangest thing I’ve witnessed and I did exclaim out loud ‘what ((deleted)) was that?’ and I rarely swear.
