Reflective orbs flying back and forth and making formations in southern sky seen from Los Angeles CA
I work in Santa Monica CA and was on my way home at 3:23 pm. It was a cloudless day and sunny. I was just getting on the 105 freeway going east still in the city of Los Angeles. At that time of day the traffic is very slow so I was driving under 5 miles an hour, creeping slowly and had just about reached the crest of the fly-over when I looked up into the southern sky.
At first I thought it was several Mylar balloons flying extremely high in the sky. Then the reflective orbs started appearing and reappearing randomly. There were maybe six or eight and they would form a line, a v shape and fly back and forth vertically and horizontally.
It was then that I realized that balloons can't make formations or fly in a straight line back and forth or disappear and reappear. I knew I was witnessing UFOs and was thrilled. I looked around at other cars beside me and no one seemed to be seeing what I was seeing. It lasted perhaps thirty seconds.
