Horizontal flickering lights that appeared and disappeared in Upstate NY
My fiance and I were sitting on our front porch talking this evening, about 20 minutes later he stopped and said "what on Earth is that!" And pointed to the West above the forest tree line. I stood to look and there I saw a horizontal line of flickering (such as stars do) lights, colored in red's and orange's. We proceeded off the porch to the road and watched it sit for approximately 4 minutes until it began to "fade" as I can only describe it. However, we did have a nice moon that night so we could still see the object without the lights and it continued on towards the West where we could no longer see through the tree line. After the craft faded out my fiance said "that's the same way it came in, it was just there all of a sudden". Our Labrador was barking for the duration of this experience, he saw this as well.
