On the south beach of Willoughby lake in Vermont some friends and myself witnessed a small black cube with a red light in the bottom right hand corner that was facing us about 12 inches by 12 inches descend between the mountains that surround this unfathomably deep lake. It was dead silent and had no evidence of a propulsion system. It moved in a grid pattern around 3 feet above the waters surface, as if it was scanning the area. It then submerged just under the surface where we could see the object move in the same grid pattern before rising slowly out of the water and pausing for a few minutes. Everyone on the beach just stood in awe and asked me a million questions being that I'm the "Alien Guy", questions I could not answer. The object then ascended straight up in a fraction of a second and was gone.
