The orange orbs over the ocean.

My sister, my parents and I were sitting out on the deck of a condo and chatting.

We spotted orange-red balls of light over the ocean that weren't typical of an aircraft in shape or movement. They moved erratically right beside each other. They disappeared for a few seconds and then reappeared, but disappeared in the clouds.

Since it was cloudy, we thought perhaps they were aircraft. But we discarded that due to the strange movements.

I suggested that perhaps they were distress flares from out at sea, but it seemed unlikely and the orbs were pretty high in the sky. We brushed it off and didn't think anything of it after they disappeared.

This morning, out of curiosity, I googled our experience expecting to find a practical explanation, however, there was none.

Many others have reported this same sighting over the years and one occurrence was reported from last night as well.

We are all pretty skeptical but this experience was definitely surprising and puzzling to all of us.
