Scalene triangular shape, slow hovering. Very bright light. Flashing light, not light aircraft or helicopter. More like strobe effect. The craft was not audible from where we were at. It seemed to maintain altitude but moved a large distance over a few seconds. The craft turned our direction (southeast) and moved west very quickly. Moved behind treeline and we lost it
