Fourth of July sighting of 5 craft and our communication attempt and response.
My family and I had just finished our fireworks and were returning to my backyard to make S'mores. I stoked the fire and started walking east towards my wood pile when I noticed 2 (Incandescent) looking lights heading west bound and low on the horizon(15-25 degrees, just below the cloud ceiling.
At first I thought they were helicopters, yet I heard no rotor wash. The 2 craft continued heading west towards me, when I summoned family.
As the craft approached we thought at first Japanese Lanterns because the lights changed from incandescent white to orange with a vibrant red corona around the object that looked like flames on the top.
The objects were now close enough (1-2 miles away and just below tree top level),to easily define them as spheres or orbs. At first sight they were golf ball size as they came closer there size increased to softball size at the closest. The 2 craft then stopped and hovered momentarily. One craft then went 90 degrees and headed nort! h at a steady pace towards the city of Enumclaw, where then, it suddenly blinked out.
The 1 remaining craft still hovering then changed its elevation going straight up to tree top level and then moved 90 degrees to the south for a short distance then heading back on the exact same course where it stopped at the same altitude and location it started from.
The craft then started again to raise up, and I decided to take my l.e.d. flashlight and signal the craft and get some kind of response. I immediately commenced flashing out a series of three flashes then two flashes followed by a 5 second break and then started the sequence again. The craft flashed back the exact same series and commenced raising in altitude, this time making a 90 degree left followed by stopping at the same location and then heading 90 degrees right.
The craft started getting smaller and began fading out when at tree top level on craft appeared out of thin air and came towards us then from right behind tha! t craft or from within, a second craft appeared then a third.
2 of the craft broke to the south of the lead craft into an angled formation like one side of a triangle.
The second craft from the original sighting was slowly going behind the trees then blinked in and out finally blinked out and was gone. The first craft of the second sighting at that point turned 90 degrees North and sped off at a high rate of speed then blinked out the second craft approached then blinked out the third craft raised up in altitude and then blinked out.
