Color morphing light over Ada County.
At 23:30 on July 4th 2013, myself and two other individuals witnessed a large bright light moving from the Southwest, in an arc to the. Northwest. The light was morphing in color from red to orange and seemed to have a glowing haze around it. It appeared almost blurry at times. The object was moving parallel to the horizon at a very slow rate of speed.
As the object moved off to the Northwest, it seemed to either accelerate, or blink out because the light turned a solid red color and became significantly smaller in size.
The object emitted no sound whatsoever and was at a distance relative to us where we would have heard at least residual engine noise. From where our position was, I would estimate the dis stance of the object to be about 10 miles away, and about 20 to 30 degrees off the horizon.
