Sphere shaped half moon object gliding across the sky.
My childhood friend and I were sittting on my front porch lookin at the stars when we saw a redbut mostly white sphere shaped object approx. The size of a half moon glide across the sky in a diagonal motion it was too slow to be a plane but not fast enough to be a shooting star. We ran down the street to follow it but as we ran it faded away and disappeared. We sat on the front porch for an hour looking for more but had not seen anything else.
