2013-06-22 - Saint Joseph, MO

White light quickly gains altitude and dissappears.

I went outside to smoke a cigar and look at the supermoon on Saturday night, June 22, 2013. The night was relatively cloudless and nothing blocked the view of the moon.

I noticed what I considered at the time a fast moving airplane which came into vision to the east of the moon as it cleared the roof of my house. I was facing South and standing on my driveway.

It seemed like it was at a very high altitude and did not have any blinking lights. It was a white light.

Normally all the airplanes I see travel at a consistent speed across the entire sky.

This light then seemed to quickly gain altitude until it disappeared.

I’ve never seen an airplane or jet do this.

My wife was inside the house and I was telling her about the craft. By the time she came outside it had disappeared. The entire event was only 3-4 minutes.
